Joshua Bowlus and John Ricci have performed together on gigs for years, even recorded together on John Ricci’s acclaimed CD Holding Time (2007). This quintet is their first collaboration with a world-class group of jazz artists to perform some of their original compositions and arrangements. Always having been in the “testing” ground of the local jazz scene, their collective creativity will finally flourish in the E. Street Café Listening Room with their newly formed quintet.

This group strives to balance tradition and modernity in order to achieve a unique sound, and is not afraid to groove in the process.
